A few FRIENDS

Posted by love_makes on 9:07 AM
If you ask me which sem u enjoyed the most ..i ll say 1st and last.
If yous ask me which sem u experienced the most ...its indelible 3rd sem.
A week leave after 30 days of exhausting 1st year's exam is just a jot, so we made it two ..[not enough though, but somehow....("India adjust kariyo")]
Back to college nothing changed much but our attitude ..we became somehow complacent in everything ..started bunking the classes on regular basis esp. classes after break, taking snaps everywhere , in GROUPS..within no time we were up with our 1st internal exam ..n it was not a glitch..anyway we jotted down the papers and bunked the EC test (don't know why)..I (not only I) tanked in all those papers ,but hardly cared. Now comes the season of new admission ,we were waiting for this since we took admission .
We got new and fresh spuds to..... ;-)
supreme court: Ragging is an offense..blah blah ..
but with all due respect to apex court ..plz excuse me ..
"if u follow all the rules u ll loose all the fun.."
everything was going fine ...till this :
We had heard of some boys[three] who were kind of revolting against the seniors [and this always hurts the newly born mind of the seniors ] so we planned [i regret this ,how could we]..anyway we did.
We took them to a kind of remand room type place ...dark, no windows ...
with no more than two slaps two of them burst into apologies..huhh ..happy seniors ...
one was still denying the orders of so called seniors ...
18-19 were there barring 3-4.. all just started beating him brutally ..one single guy ..though he deserved every punch he got but still ...its not the way ..[now only i come to know that]
then came our seniors and they took him from there..now the story begun...
the same night [it was university fest]..we got news of police complaint against us ,rumored all around of some arrest also..we didn't have any option but to run from the city and we did the same, its ar. 11 and the train already left for kanyakumari so we got a bus for Calicut.
12-13 of us were in the bus ...we got 4-5 seats n we managed [INDIA adjust kariyo ]somehow for 6 hrs n we reached there, took a hotel near the bus depot n we planned to tour Waynad but damn true you won't get what you planned ..all our plans into the shit after two hours...the fone rang n was Dubey on other side telling us to come back to kochi else the boy is going to launch an F.I.R against us ...that was enough to stir us ...thousands of thoughts zipped through mind ...now what .
what we r going to do ,we all finished ...and on n on...bullshit ..
we were exhausted physically as well as mentally after such a debilitating night
anyway ..
we rushed to rly stn. ,got tickets of local train..
1 sweet memory that i recollect i found a "50 rupees note [i still have that]" on rly stn.
the train came ..hardly any space in the local but we somehow grappled our way into the compartment for the most shitty journey of my life..the crowd with a smell of coconut was adding salt to the wound....
i was so exhausted that i slept between aisle ..i could count numbers of footprints on my t-shirt n jeans but i really didn't care about that ..
we reached the campus ar 1 ..
Dubey informed that he[the boy] was telling about 7 guys ..
And then i saw how FATTU [the bastards who always boasted of being the WARRIOR "dick"]some of us turned in no time...
"friends don't come good by dozens"
at last seven fools [including me]..were chosen for the so called trial ..and we went there ..2 two super seniors [one from both the parties] ..we had to listen the nonsense talking without any arguments and kept lulling myself by the saying "every dog has its day"..
yes sir echos with whatever he said... and rightly so ...yes sir u r the fucking boss right now and we are the rats ..
3 hours the indelible 3 hrs ....we the innocent moppets keep repeating yes sir ..
thumbed the stamp paper in which terms and conditions ...[i don't want to write more on this..]

SS: You guys have to apologize to the guy
I: Not happening ( Na - Nahi hoga.. have never been so blunt in saying a "NO")
Again the same arguments - I was sticking to the same line "Na - Nahi Hoga" - count? atleast 10 times...

finally "sorry exchanged"...with the most unwilling smile i ever had ...i felt like killing someone ..
we came out ..thanked the senior who propped us throughout the one way hearing..thanks sir thanks once again ...
everyone was angry and relieved ...strange but ...this was so...
A few more incidents which taught a lot ..

then got Onam vacation a much needed break from college ,came back home ,steady things up
and then back to college with "more EXPERIENCE and a few FRIENDS".

Revenge --- to be continued.
